Tooth bleaching tray

Bleaching tray: Bleaching tray is also called as teeth whitening tray, it’s made that fit over the user’s upper and lower teeth. To perform treatments, the user places whitening gel in the trays and then seats them over their teeth. The trays are then worn for a prescribed period of time(often multiple hours per day, or else overnight).

Overview

A bleaching tray is a thin, custom-formed shell that holds whitening gel against the tooth surface. Because it is made on your patient's own model or scan, the fit controls where the gel sits and keeps it away from the gingiva, which is the part that causes most sensitivity complaints when stock trays are used.

Fabrication

We thermoform each tray on a printed or stone model using soft Essix-type material in the thickness you specify. Margins are trimmed to your preference, and upper and lower trays are delivered as a pair with the case number engraved.

What we need from you

Send an intraoral scan, a silicone impression or a stone model. If you want a specific reservoir depth or a shorter buccal skirt, note it on the case sheet and we will follow it rather than our default.
